Village Market
Having first appeared in the Village Hall in October 2019, the Redbourn Village Market was re-launched as an outdoor market in June 2020 and operated on the second Saturday of each month throughout last year.
We now have between 12 – 15 stalls and are developing a regular loyal following of locals who come to chat, shop and generally enjoy what the Market has to offer.
Now back for 2021, after a winter break, our first Market was held from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday 17th April on the Village Hall Car Park and we will continue to offer a variety of stalls on the second Saturday of each month through to November.
We now have between 12 – 15 stalls and are developing a regular loyal following of locals who come to chat, shop and generally enjoy what the Market has to offer.
In the course of the last 6 months we have had a fantastic range of stalls, selling Olive Oil, Cheeses, cold meats, chutneys and preserves of all sorts, fresh fruit, bread, cakes, pies and local biscuits, chocolates and gins.
A nursery from Codicote regularly bring a beautiful array of summer bedding and perennial plants.
Local beekeepers from Heartwood Forest and St Albans bring their jars of sparkling honey along every month.
We have locally produced soaps and other skin care products as well as some jewelery and crafts.
From time to time we offer a local charity a space, at no cost, to promote what they do and raise much needed funds. In 2020 we welcomed the Redbourn Community Library and Redbourn Scouts.
