Large Main Hall with capacity for up to 210 people or 120 if seated in rows or at tables.
Hire of the Main Hall includes use of the following-
Curtained working stage, including spot lights and black back drapes. The stage can be reached from the front of the Main Hall or via the backstage entrance off the corridor.
Small Bar Room equipped with a sink and fridge, a serving ledge to attach pump mechanisms and a serving hatch on to the Main Hall
Sound system which connects to a mobile device via a standard head phone socket. The sound system includes a plug in, hand held and clip on microphones (available by prior arrangement) and hearing loop.
Light system which can be programmed to your colour choice, either static or a changing light pattern.
Table and chair store room. The use of the trestle tables and chairs is included in the room hire charge but the quantities required need to be indicated on the booking form (there is a separate charge for the caretakers to put tables and/or chairs out/away)
There is plenty of natural light from the tall windows or black out using the thick window curtains. The five windows open outwards to provide ventilation.
Narrow shelves with hooks underneath running at high shoulder height around the walls to easily attach temporary decorations or signs (the painted walls must not have anything stuck on them)
10 shoulder level wall electrical power sockets
Wall mounted radiators linked to a room thermostat
Both bright LED lighting or dimmable mood lighting using coloured spot lights mounted on the high vaulted ceiling
A buzzer/intercom entry system on the front door to allow controlled entry to the Main Hall
Sprung wooden floor - great for sports, exercise or dancing
High vaulted ceiling provides clearance for Bouncy castle and soft play equipment
Marked out badminton court on the wooden floor (short court for recreational play)
Plain cream coloured walls and dark cream velvet stage and window curtains to provide a neutral backdrop
There are large double fire doors giving easy even access to the Main Hall from the front of the building and main car park. Theses can be used for a private entrance to your event. Also double doors leading from the entrance hall to enable controlled access to the Main Hall.
