Redbourn Community Group
Redbourn Community Group (RCG) is a volunteer lead registered charity which has been serving the village of Redbourn since 1980.
Previously Redbourn Care Group, the charity has a new name, to reflect its objectives, to provide support to all residents regardless of background, to connect the community together, and to help community projects.
We organise car transport for people who need to attend hospital or other medical and wellbeing appointments
We provide a minibus transport service to support a programme of shopping, leisure activities and outings
We run a companionship network for people who like social contact via a phone call or walk with a volunteer
We assist with shopping and pharmacy deliveries for those who need help
We lend equipment such as mobility scooters and wheelchairs for short or long term need
We work with other organisations for the benefit of Redbourn residents, make contributions to community projects and give grants to help people in need
