Redbourn Good Companions Club 

Tuesday 5th Feb 2pm to 4pm 

The Redbourn Good Companions welcomes all Redbourn residents aged 55 and over to join them for an afternoon of activities and shared friendship. 

Tea/coffee and biscuit included. 

The annual subscription is £6 and a monthly payment of £1.50 is asked to cover costs & hiring fees.

Transport (including the Redbourn Care bus) is available so please contact to arrange.

Hertfordshire Hearing Advisory Service

Hertfordshire Hearing Advisory Service (HHAS)

Tuesday 5th Feb 2pm to 4pm 

HHAS run a drop-in resource center in the Care Office at RVH on the first Tuesday of each month.

HHAS volunteers provide a basic hearing aid maintenance service, including cleaning and re-tubing NHS hearing aids, replacing batteries and troubleshooting problems.

Please bring your NHS book along.

Wednesday 20th February from 10am to 1pm

A pop-up swop shop to buy, sell, swap and enjoy the fun of L.O.L. surprise pre-owned merchandise. Bring your duplicates and get swapping or buy those missing dolls to add to your collection. You can even sell your extras to other LOL lovers.

The RVH Clerks Office will be closed for visits during the school holiday, however during this time post, emails and phone messages will continue to be answered and all booking inquires dealt with promptly. The Caretakers will be in daily as usual.

Vanessa runs classes and workshop's where her pupils learn the upholstery skills needed to work on their own projects.


Vanessa runs whole day Saturday upholstery workshops most months as well as weekly term time classes on Thursday evenings.

Ver Valley Society Open Meeting 2019

Guest speaker: John Tyler –

"Wetland Wildlife" 

Come to the February Open Meeting for up-to-date news on the River Ver followed by local naturalist John Tyler giving an illustrated talk on Wetland Wildlife.

Enjoy a tour of the plants and animals to be found in ponds, lakes and streams, looking at the ways in which, from marine land-loving ancestors, they have become so beautifully adapted to life on, around and beneath the water. 


All meetings are free entrance to members/non members, although contributions will be asked towards refreshments (suggested minimum £2)
